About Us

International Afro-Ethnic Business and Culture Fair work to unite these two worlds, contributing bilaterally so that entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs and institutions can tangibly leverage this relationship through exhibitions in stands, business roundtables, Black Diasporas Forum and workshops.

Who we are

We are from the FEAFRO International Institute and the Brazil Africa ECOWAS  hamber of Commerce – ECOWAS BRAZIL, private non-profit organizations. We have dedicated our activities over the past 16 years to market opening for companies, institutions and governments with an interest in relationships on the African  continent. In our history we have established solid partnerships with agents and institutions of economic, business, social, cultural and commercial development important to the strategic plan of corporations seeking Africa to expand their business and/or place their products.

Stage of the birth of humanity, Africa has suffered in recent centuries the exploitation and  olonization of other peoples, civil wars, apartheid and famine. Currently, the continent reserves great potential for progress, with its cultural diversity, natural resources and institutional stabilization. Being seen as a land of opportunity and the right destination for development agents, who seek growing markets. In this scenario, Africa needs to take advantage of the favorable moment to create measures that allow economic rebirth and overcome the consequences of the past.

FEAFRO – International Business Fair acts to unite these two worlds, contributing bilaterally so that the entrepreneur, entrepreneur and institutions enhance this relationship in a tangible way through exposure in stands, business rounds, Black Diasporas Forum and workshops.

The second edition of FEAFRO took place in November 2013 on the Costa do Sauípe Resort – Bahia with the presence of 18 countries of the African Continent, 9 countries of the Americas and over 400 personalities gathered to discuss the participation of the Diaspora in the Project “Africa Vision 2063”, launched at the event commemorating the Golden Jubilee of the African Union with determination to “build an integrated Africa, prosperous and peaceful.”

On the 3 rd EDITION that took place at EXPO CENTER NORTE in São Paulo, one of the most modern event venues in Latin America. We expanded the event including the sector for SOLIDARITY AND CREATIVE ECONOMY by adding individual workers in various sectors and different regions of the country who together exchanged experiences and direct marketing to African buyers and visitors to the fair. At the Forum the theme was: “Energy Production in the Field of Food Security – Biodiversity as a Lever for Sustainable Development.”

APEX BRASIL was our technical partner in the organization of Business Rounds focused on the National Export Plan (PNE) 2015.

The fourth edition took place in 2019, but divided into two events: At Expo Center Norte we held the seminar focusing on the negotiation rounds of multiple sectors of the economy. The theme “Africa and Brazil: A Good Place to Invest” and the Art Exhibition “Reconnaissance Safari” that provided the visitor with an immersion in Contemporary Africa with works of ancient art and an audiovisual exhibition with scenes from the great African metropolises and the potential for growth for the next 50 years.

On March 17, 2020 due to the COVID19 pandemic we had to cancel the TRADE FAIR that would take place on May 07 and 08 at expo center Norte with more than 56 confirmed countries, 1500 foreigners enrolled and renowned speakers for the Forum.
